How to measure your cap.

A beautiful fit begins with you. Take six simple measurements for a wig that feels comfortable, secure, and naturally yours.

01 Prepare your hair

Style your hair flat, as you plan to wear it beneath your wig.

02 Use a soft tape

Keep it flat and comfortably snug, without pulling or stretching.

03 Measure twice

Use a mirror or ask someone to help, then double-check each result.

Follow the measuring guide

Follow the image from left to right, top row first. The six steps below follow the same order.

Six wig cap measurements: circumference, front to back, ear to ear across the forehead, ear to ear over the top, temple to temple around the back, and nape width. — Tap the image to view it full size. Image labels use inches; you can record your measurements in inches or centimeters.

Circumference

Begin at the center front hairline. Follow the hairline around the head, just above the ears and around the nape, returning to the starting point.
Front to nape

Measure from the center front hairline, over the crown, to the center of your natural hairline at the nape. The image calls this “Front to Back.”
Ear to ear across forehead

Measure from the hairline just in front of one ear, following the front hairline across the forehead, to the same point in front of the other ear.
Ear to ear over top

Measure from the top of one ear, over the top of your head, to the top of the other ear. Keep the tape flat against your head.
Temple to temple around back

Start at one temple and measure around the back of your head to the other temple. Follow the path in the image, rather than crossing the forehead.
Nape width

Measure the width of your natural hairline across the lower nape, from one side to the other. Measure across the nape, not around the neck.
